After a short delay due to the unpredictable British weather, the ridge tiles go on. They make a neat job of the pointing so I am happy. Meanwhile, I fit new guttering, downpipes...
The scaffold is finally removed, revealing the extension for the first time. I am happy with the results, although some windows and doors would be nice...
It's a big change from how things looked back in April.
Unfortunately, there's been a big change to the balance of our bank account too. Which means as of Monday, I'm back to doing some real work (well, paid work at least). I sense this blog will be running for some months yet....
Isn't it looking great, though? And the solatube is a wondferful idea for stealing a bit of light.

We SHOULD be moving in on Wednesday this week - but no loo totally plumbed in (near, but no cigar)nad no fuse board. ho hum. By the end of the week, though, for sure!
Wow! Look at the roof! It looks amazing now with the new tiles. The house is looking beautiful now, even though it's not yet done. Since it's been two years, I hope there would be some pictures of your finished house. :-)

You're right, Santo. The roof really looks amazing. The color of the shingles gives the house that sense of "liveliness". I hope we could see the house after the renovation is done. :D
